Kimberly D'Angiolillo , freelance photographer and founder of the idea, wants to highlight to the world how amazing OCR athletes are. Needing to master power, strength, endurance, agility, balance, and true grit, these athletes are some of the toughest around. She also knows that there are others out there who are fighting their own tough battles, some just to walk, run or stand again. Hope for the Warriors helps rehabilitate our wounded warriors through sports like obstacle course racing. OCR is one of the few sports where you'll find most of the participants are parents, grandparents, grandchildren, working multiple jobs and trying to stay active. All the athletes in the calendar are just like you and I, regular people with extraordinary drive.
Ken Corigliano, aka Air Force Ken from MudQuarters started OCR People Are Awesome and Arnel Barnawa, from Banawa Marketing Inc made it a world wide phenomenon with is skills, passion and magnetic personality.
